‘Pedovore’ to screen in Odense Filmfest

Iran short film ‘Pedovore’ is slated to be screened at the Odense International Film Festival in Denmark.

Directed by Mohammad Kart, ‘Pedovore’ is to represent Iran at the International Cinema section of the 19th edition of the event.

The competing movies of the Odense Filmfest have been selected among 3264 titles from around the world.

‘Pedovore’ is a social drama which zeros in on the issues of the youngsters dealing with problems like child labor, bad parenting or having no parents at all.

A brief synopsis of the film reads, ‘No one takes a child’s love seriously, while it is the purest. Nothing is as magnificent and robust as a kid’s love.’

Launched in 1975, Odense International Film Festival (OFF) is Denmark’s oldest film festival.

OFF supports and celebrates the short film genre without compromise.

The 19th edition of the event is slated for August 26 – September 1, 2019.
